Lost and Found at the BTS Station

Niran was taking the BTS to meet his friend after school. He checked his pocket and suddenly felt worried. His student card was missing. Without it, he could not enter the school library, and he also needed it for a discount.

He tried to remember what happened. On the train, he had bought a bottle of water and took out some coins. Maybe the card fell when he opened his wallet. Niran walked back to the ticket gate and asked a staff member, “Excuse me, I think I dropped my student card. Is there a lost and found?”

The staff member listened carefully and said, “Please wait here. I will check.” After a few minutes, she returned with a small card holder. “Is this yours?” she asked. Niran looked at the photo and smiled. “Yes, it is! Thank you so much.”

Before he left, the staff member reminded him to write his phone number on the back of the card holder. “If it happens again, it will be easier to return it,” she said. Niran thanked her again and felt relieved. He met his friend on time—and he learned a useful habit.

The Weekend Market Surprise

Last Saturday, Mook and her brother Ton went to a weekend market near their home in Thailand. They wanted to buy snacks and look for a small gift for their mother.

When they arrived, the market was very crowded. There were many food stalls, clothes shops, and people taking photos. Ton saw grilled pork and wanted to eat it right away, but Mook asked him to wait. “Let’s walk first and compare prices,” she said.

After a few minutes, they found a stall selling handmade soap. The soap smelled like lemongrass and jasmine. The seller smiled and explained, “These are made by a local community.” Mook thought the soap would be a nice gift, so she asked the price. It was cheaper than she expected, so she bought two bars.

Before going home, Ton finally got his grilled pork. They sat under a tree and ate together. On the way back, Mook felt happy because they found a good gift and also learned something new about local products.
